Service 02 // Web development

Web platforms that are fast by design.

From a sharp marketing site to a multi-tenant SaaS product, we build for the web with speed, accessibility and search visibility treated as features — not afterthoughts.

// 01 — What's included

From landing page to full platform.

We shape the architecture around what the product needs to do next year, not just next week — without over-engineering version one.

01

Front-end engineering

Responsive, accessible interfaces in React and Next.js, with server rendering where it helps search and load times.

02

APIs & integrations

Clean APIs and reliable integrations with payments, CRMs, ERPs, identity providers and the tools your team already uses.

03

Accounts & permissions

Sign-up, single sign-on, roles and multi-tenant data separation for portals and SaaS products.

04

Content management

A headless CMS your marketing team can actually use, with previews, scheduled publishing and structured content.

05

Commerce

Catalogue, checkout, subscriptions and order management — on Shopify, a headless stack or fully custom when it's justified.

06

Performance & SEO

Core Web Vitals budgets, structured data, sitemaps and sensible metadata built in from day one.

// 02 — Deliverables

What you walk away with.

A production web platform in infrastructure you control, plus the documentation to run it.

  • UX flows and responsive UI designs
  • Production web application
  • Headless CMS with editor training
  • API documentation
  • Automated tests and CI/CD pipeline
  • Accessibility review against WCAG 2.2 AA
  • Analytics and consent-aware tracking
  • Hosting, backups and monitoring
// 03 — Example use cases

Where it pays off.

Typical web projects we're set up to deliver — examples of the problems, not a list of past clients.

Use case 01

Customer portals

Self-service accounts where customers see orders, documents and invoices — reducing email and phone traffic for your team.

Use case 02

SaaS products

Multi-tenant platforms with billing, roles, audit logs and an admin console, ready for your first paying customers.

Use case 03

Replatforming a slow site

Moving an ageing site to a modern stack with redirects mapped, content migrated and search rankings protected.

Use case 04

Internal tools

Replacing fragile spreadsheets with a proper web app: forms, approvals, reports and permissions in one place.

// 04 — Process

// 06 — FAQ

Common questions.

Something not covered? Write to hello@spellegrinokey.co.uk.

Do you build on WordPress?

We can, and sometimes it's the right answer for content-heavy sites with an existing team. For products, portals and anything performance-critical we usually recommend a headless CMS with a modern front end. We'll recommend what fits your team, not what's fashionable.

Will the site be accessible and SEO-friendly?

Yes. We design and test against WCAG 2.2 AA, use semantic HTML, and build in metadata, structured data, sitemaps and fast load times from the start.

Can you integrate with our existing systems?

Usually. We've designed the process to start with an integration review: we look at the APIs and data you have and flag any risk early, before it affects the estimate.

Who hosts the site?

You do — in your own cloud or hosting account. We set it up, automate deployments and backups, and can manage it for you on a support plan.

// Next step

Let's build something fast and findable.

Share the site or platform you have in mind — or the one that's holding you back — and we'll suggest a practical route.
